ZAKAATUL-FITR

"Take alms from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it." (Al-Qur'ân At-Taubah  9 :103)

Charity done in secret
On the authority of 'Amru ibn Thaabit who said: When 'Alee ibn al-Husayn died, they washed him and noticed a black mark on his back, so they (some of them) said: (What is this?) So they (the others) said: (He used to carry a sack of flour on his back during the night and used to distribute it to the poor and needy of the people of Madeenah). Siffatus-Safwah - Volume 2, Page 96

"Let not those who are miserly with what God has given 
them of His bounty"

Reward for charity done in secret
On the authority of Abee Hamzah ath-Thumaalee who said: 'Alee ibn al-Husayn used to carry a sack of bread on his back during the night and used to distribute it in charity. And he used to say: (Indeed, charity done in secret will prevent the anger of the Lord, the Mighty and Majestic). Siffatus-Safwah - Volume 2, Page 96

Zakaat al-Fitr - By Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-Munajjid But those will prosper who purify themselves, and glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in Prayer.

Az-Zakaah  BY  Dr. Ja`faar Sheikh Idris "Have you not any wealth except that which you wear and tear, eat and consume, give as alms and thus preserve?"

The Zakaah BY Imaam Al-Baihaqee "Those who lay up treasures of gold and silver and spend them not in the way of God; give them the news of a painful punishment" 

Az-Zakaah BY Imaam Ibn ul Qayyim al Jawziyyah  "Qad aflaha man zakkaha" {He is indeed successful who purifies himself}

Salaf in Regard to Zakaatul- Fitr Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-Uthaimeen  There is no consideration  for people who think something to be good, without basis from the legal sources of Qur'ân and Sunnah

As-Siddeeq, Radiyallaahu`anhu, Fighting Those Who Refused to Pay the Zakaah By Shaykh Fadl Elahi By Allaah, if they refuse to pay me (even) a bridle which they used to pay the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu`alaihiwasallam then I will fight them because of their refusal.
